With an ageing population, the increasing need for care and support services for older people means that the care sector remains a much discussed topic in the media. With consumers facing complex future health needs and care options there is a need for concise and informative communications to promote best practice and good news stories from within the industry.
At Trinity PR we work with clients across the sector from residential care homes, to independent living providers and manufacturers of specialist equipment and assistive technology to improve quality of life and reduce ill health. Clients include Aspects2 (residential care for people with learning disabilities, complex requirements and mental health needs), ProMedica24 (live-in care to support independent living) and Apex Medical (manufacturers of dynamic mattresses to reduce pressure ulcers).
The shift towards enabling more people to live independently in their own homes has also seen an increase in the importance of assistive technology (AT). This year, the team at Trinity PR is working to promote Naidex, the UK’s leading event for the Independent Living and Disability sector (26-28 April 2016). Trinity will be running the press office at the event, seeking out the latest news stories from the packed CPD programme, as well as selecting the latest products and technologies from show’s popular Innovation Trail. Naidex 2016 partners include the National Wheelchair Managers Association (NWMF), Posture and Mobility Group (PMG), the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) and the College of Occupational Therapists (COT).
